SYT26: U14 and U16 Groups Announced // SYT26: ecco i Gironi U14 e U16

The stage is set for SYT26, the new edition of the SAM Basket International Youth Tournament, which once again brings to Massagno some of the most competitive youth programs in Europe. With both U14 and U16 categories now defined, the Tournament promises four days of intensity, passion and high‑level basketball.

The U16 category brings even more international prestige. Group A includes the defending champions Žalgiris BA, the always‑competitive Swiss National Team, the Slovenian powerhouse KK Ilirija, and the historic Italian club Fortitudo 103 Academy.

Group B features European giants FC Bayern Basketball, the elite youth program Orange1 Basket Bassano, the ambitious Next Step Basket Rapallo, and the home team SAM Basket Massagno U16, ready to compete in front of their supporters. In the U14 category, Group C features Žalgiris BA U14, arriving in Massagno with strong momentum after the success of their U16 team in SYT25, alongside the always‑competitive S.G. Fortitudo and the local selection Ticino Basket U14.

Group D includes the home team SAM Basket Massagno U14, the rising Italian academy Next Step Basket Rapallo U14, and PGT Cantù, a youth program linked to the historic Pallacanestro Cantù.

Three days for U14, four days for U16. Two categories, fourteen teams, one shared goal: reaching the final stage of SYT26.

SYT26 è pronto a prendere il via. Con i gironi U14 e U16 ora definiti, il Torneo si prepara a offrire quattro giorni di intensità, passione e basket di altissimo livello.

La categoria U16 porta con sé ancora più prestigio internazionale. Nel Gruppo A troviamo i campioni in carica dello Žalgiris BA, la sempre competitiva Nazionale Svizzera U16, la solida realtà slovena KK Ilirija e il club italiano Fortitudo 103 Academy.

Il Gruppo B schiera i giganti europei del FC Bayern Basketball, l’eccellenza giovanile dell’Orange1 Basket Bassano, la promettente Next Step Basket Rapallo e la squadra di casa SAM Basket Massagno U16, pronta a lottare davanti al proprio pubblico.

Nella categoria U14, il Gruppo C vede la presenza dello Žalgiris BA U14, che arriva a Massagno con grande slancio dopo il successo della formazione U16 nell’edizione SYT25, insieme all'S.G. Fortitudo e alla selezione locale Ticino Basket U14.

Il Gruppo D comprende la squadra di casa SAM Basket Massagno U14, la crescente realtà italiana Next Step Basket Rapallo U14 e PGT Cantù, settore giovanile collegato alla storica Pallacanestro Cantù.

Tre giorni per gli U14, quattro per gli U16. Due categorie, quattordici squadre, un unico obiettivo: raggiungere la fase finale dello SYT26.
